1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
To be a modern woman is to be fearless. Women are taking space in high-powered positions unapologetically. In the last year alone, we have a black female Vice President, eight female coaches in the National Football League, and a 30% increase of presence in top financial positions. Those were goals set by ambitious women who did not use fear to stop them but to motivate them.

2. What is the strangest thing in your fridge?
A girl becomes a woman not in any physical definition but mental maturity. Unfortunately, as a girl, you will naturally face barriers men do not that are outside of your circumstance. These are all lessons though. When a girl embraces these misconceptions and mentally shifts to breaking down every barrier in the elegance and confidence only a female can possess, she becomes a woman.

3.What’s something you only do when you’re bored?
I handle disappointment by finding its growth lesson. I rationalize my emotions and recognize what my expectations were. When I see where my disappointment stemmed from, I plot how to better approach the scenario if it were to happen again. The truth is disappointment is one of your greatest teachers. Anything derived from disappointment provides an opportunity to learn from every experience; situations that disappointed you can lead you to a breakthrough.

4.What is a purchase you made that you immediately regretted?
It recently occurred on my younger sister’s birthday in May. I was looking through pictures to share that dated to our childhood. I saw pictures of family, reflecting on the challenges my mom faced moving from the Dominican Republic and the visual representation of the emotions we faced. It was perfect because, with my sister in the Air Force and myself working in Sports Broadcasting, we have grown into the women we wanted to be.

5.What kind of Barbie would you be?
I handle stress and pressure with tenacity and determination. I am confident under both because I thrive in challenging environments - they can try to intimidate me, but they motivate me. I take a deep breath, distinctly affirm my goals, and prioritize my action steps to conquer them. I remain diligent and swift in my time management skills, but make sure to pause and take deep breaths when necessary.
