Kieauna Fuqua is originially from Columbus, Ohio. The 22-year-old beauty now resides in Ridgeland, Mississippi where she works as a professional nanny and is in the College Level Examination Program. She planst to earn a business degree in economics.
Kieauna has worked with children all her life. Having helped raise her younger brother and sister, tutoring elementary students, working as an assistant teacher at a daycare for three years, and becoming a professional nanny, and now mentoring youth through the Big Brother Big Sister Program. Kieauna is spending her year as Miss Mississippi International promoting her platform "Inspiring Our Youth Of Tomorrow Today." By spending time with a youth each weekend, as well as attending and speaking at events for youth. Kieauna will start visiting and speaking at schools and hospitals in the fall. This platform is very important to her because she feels like our youth have become less inspired to better themselves through educations and professionally. She wants to show our youth that no matter who you are or where you come from you can achieve success with hard work and determination.
When Kieauna is not molding our youth she enjoys reading, traveling, and shopping. Kieauna plans to become a model, actress, entrepreneur and an activist for neglected and abused children.
